How We Save You Money

Bigger Is Not Always Better

Diamond Head Windows has been through the “big box store” overhead cycle.  We did big ... and we didn't like it.  Our previous company, like most in the industry, became burdened by too much overhead. Most of which doesn’t really benefit you the customer but definitely adds to the cost of your project.  So we downsized!   Here are some of the industry secrets that bigger window and door companies would rather you not think about.

What things cost .. that YOU pay for:

  1. Big showrooms and unnecessary office space cost 15 to 25 thousand dollars per month.  We found a small showroom works fine. We bring all the samples to you.
  2. Traditional advertising that cost way too much.  The internet has changed everything.  It's very inexpensive and eliminates the need for costly advertising like yellow pages, radio, TV, and the multitude of other mediums most window companies use to get you to call them.  Most companies can spend 15 to 20 thousand dollars a month on this kind of advertising.
  3. Too much office staff.  An average employee with insurance, benefits usually costs 60,000 to 100,000 dollars per year.

Things we do not do:

  1. We never cut corners on products we carry or materials we use.  Our product lines are the best available on the market. We use only the best production materials available. This includes the highest quality caulking and trims.
  2. We never hire installers that do not meet our strict guidelines of experience and proven craftsmanship.  Since we're staking our reputation on your project, we make sure we only send professionals to work on your home.
